Indian Bank has announced the recruitment of Graduate Apprentices for 1500 vacancies across various states. The online application period for this recruitment drive is from July 18th to August 7th, 2025

Eligibility criteria

  • Education: A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent, completed on or after April 1, 2021.
  • Age: 20-28 years as of July 1, 2025, with age relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates.
  • Language: Proficiency in a local language of the state applied for. 

Selection process

The selection process includes an online test, a local language proficiency test, and document verification. The online test covers Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness with Banking reference. 

Exam pattern

The online test has 100 objective-type questions for 100 marks, to be completed in 60 minutes. There is a 0.25 mark penalty for each incorrect answer, and the exam is bilingual (English and Hindi), except for the English section. 

Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 for Metro/Urban branches and ₹12,000 for Rural/Semi-Urban branches during the 12-month training. This stipend includes Bank and Government contributions, and no additional allowances are provided. 

Application fee

The application fee is ₹800 + GST for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹175 + GST for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The fee is non-refundable and paid online. 

How to apply

To apply, register on the NATS 2.0 portal at nats.education.gov.in and complete your profile. Then, visit the Indian Bank’s career section at www.indianbank.in or www.indianbank.in/career/ and click on the “Engagement of Apprentices – 2025” link. Follow the steps for new registration, fill in the application details, upload required documents, and pay the fee online. Finally, submit and download the application form and e-receipt. 

Note: A candidate can apply for only one state; multiple applications will be rejected. It’s recommended to apply early to avoid technical issues.
