The Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2026 application window is open for applications from eligible unmarried male and female candidates

Here’s how to apply online:

• Visit the official website: Go to https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
• Registration: Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Login & Selection: Log in and select the “Intake 02/2026” option.
• Fill the form: Complete the online application form with personal, academic, and contact information.
• Upload documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents, including a passport-size photograph, thumb impression, signature, and relevant academic certificates. Valid photo identity proof like an Aadhaar card is also required for most states.
• Pay the application fee: The fee is ₹550 + GST, payable online.
• Submit and print: Submit the form and print the confirmation page. 

Important dates

• Online Application Start Date: July 11, 2025
• Last Date to Apply: July 31, 2025 (11:00 PM)
• Exam Date: September 25, 2025 onwards.
• Admit Card Release Date: Approximately 24-48 hours before the exam. 

Eligibility criteria

• Age Limit: 17.5 to 21 years. Candidates must be born between July 2, 2005, and January 2, 2009 (both inclusive).
• Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
• Educational Qualification: Requirements vary based on whether applying for Science or Other Than Science subjects. Generally, a 10+2 passing certificate with specific subject and mark requirements is needed. Diploma and Vocational course equivalents are also accepted for certain streams.
• Physical and Medical Standards: Specific standards for height, chest, weight, and physical tests apply. Minimum height for males is 152.5 cm and for females is 152 cm. Selection process

The selection process includes:

• Phase I: Online Written Test covering subjects like English, Physics, Mathematics, Reasoning, and General Awareness.
• Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-I & II, and Document Verification.
• Phase III: Medical Examination for qualified candidates.
