Eligibility criteria

• Age: For direct posts, candidates must be between 35 and 40 years old as of the application deadline, with age relaxation for ex-servicemen. There is no age limit for departmental posts.
• Educational Qualification: Requirements include passing the 10+2 exam with at least 60% in English, holding an LL.B. degree, and being proficient in computer operations like Word processing and Spreadsheet.
• Departmental Post Eligibility: Applicants must be current High Court or Subordinate Courts employees in Punjab, Haryana, or U.T. Chandigarh, serving in a role at least equivalent to Senior Assistant for a minimum of five years. 

Application fees

The application fee varies based on category, ranging from ₹800/- to ₹1000/-. Online transaction charges may also apply. 

Selection process

The selection process includes a written examination, a computer proficiency test, and a Viva-Voce. The written exam covers English Composition, Civil Law, and Criminal Law. The computer test is qualifying, and only candidates who pass it will proceed to the Viva-Voce.
