The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander positions in the Rajasthan Police Department

. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1015 vacancies, instead of the 857 mentioned in the user request.

• Application Start Date: August 10, 2025.

• Last Date for Fee Payment: September 8, 2025.
• Written Exam (SI Telecommunication): November 9, 2025. 

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and be between 20 and 25 years old as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories, and candidates must also meet the specified physical standards. 

Application process

The application process involves visiting the official RPSC website (rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in), registering through the SSO portal, filling out the online form, uploading necessary documents, paying the application fee based on category, and submitting the application. 

Selection process

The selection process includes a written examination covering various subjects, a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) to assess physical fitness and standards, and an interview to evaluate personality and suitability for the role. 

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a salary according to the 7th Pay Commission. During a two-year probation period, the monthly salary is ₹26,500. After probation, the salary is in Pay Matrix Level 11, ranging from ₹46,000 to ₹50,000 per month, including allowances.
