RRC SWR Apprentice Vacancy 2025: Apply Online

The Railway Recruitment Cell, South Western Railway (RRC SWR) has announced a recruitment drive for 904 Act Apprentice positions across various trades for the year 2025-26.

• Online Application Starts: July 14, 2025.
• Application Deadline: August 13, 2025 (11:59 PM).

Vacancy details

A total of 904 vacancies are available in various trades across different divisions, workshops, and units of South Western Railway, including Hubballi, Mysuru, Bengaluru, and the Carriage Repair Workshop, Hubballi. 

Eligibility criteria

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
• Age Limit: Must be between 15 and 24 years of age as of August 13, 2025.
  • Age relaxation applies for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD (10 years) candidates.
  • Ex-Servicemen also receive age relaxation as per government rules. 

Application fee

• General/OBC: ₹100.
• SC/ST/PwBD/Female: No fee.
• Fees can be paid online via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. 

Selection process

The selection process is purely merit-based and involves the following stages: 

1. Merit List: Prepared based on the average percentage of marks obtained in 10th standard (with a minimum of 50%) and the relevant ITI trade.
2. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on the merit list will be called for document verification.
3. Medical Examination: A medical fitness test will also be conducted. 

Note: There is no written test or interview for this recruitment.

4. Login and fill out the online application form with personal, academic, and trade-specific details.

6. Pay the application fee (if applicable) through the online payment gateway.
7. Review all details and submit the application form.
8. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
